7-11-18 Roger is a 7 year old Poodle who has come to us from a breeder. Roger is a sweet boy, and is very friendly when around other dogs but worried when on his own. He has never been without the company of another dog, so will need at least one to live with. Roger is happy to be handled, but does not yet walk on a lead and is not house trained. Can you be the one to give Roger a forever home?

29-12-18 UPDATE

Roger is a small and very gentle Poodle boy who is only around 4 Kgs. He is very loyal to his Bichon friend Nia and would love a home with a little female toy dog who would let him cuddle up. He adores attention and sitting on knees for a fuss. He is confident around the house and is now going out and about on a harness. Roger has had all his teeth removed but this does not seem to cause him any problems but he does need to have his food softened slightly for him.
Roger has spent all his life so far in kennels so he needs a home where he will be very spoilt and where he will be able to go out for loads of little walks and spend his evenings on your knee. He does not like the cold and needs a coat. He is just about housetrained but may occasionally attempt to mark especially if it is raining!

28-01-19 UPDATE

Roger is a delightful little house guest. He has just had his first groom and was as good as gold for the groomer. He has had all his coat taken off as it was very long and is now feeling the cold so a warm house with his little jacket on is a must! A lovely kind Freind of Many Tears is currently knitting him a couple of little jumpers!
Roger loves to lie on you in the evenings watching TV and he loves his little walks around the village and trots out confidently. He eats well, enjoying softened food or a meat diet with a daily boiled egg to build him up as he is still a little under weight.
Roger sleeps well all night but can still lift his leg occasionally in the house so a commitment to spending time out in the garden with him is needed!
Roger is a small Toy poodle with a very very gentle nature. He loves all other dogs and is very bonded to his friend Nia the Bichon. Poodles are highly intelligent and love spending time with their owners therefore he would suit a retired person who already has a gentle little dog, a spare knee and loads of love to give him.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
