If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

18-1-19  This is Neap and she has come to us from a breeder.  Today has been a day of firsts for her. She had her first pat the head,  her first cuddle, her first kind word and her first words of love. She can be nervous but settles quite quickly once she knows she can trust you.  Neap will need at least one other dog in her new home who she can watch and copy to help her learn about house training and lead walking.  She is going to really flourish with time, love and patience.

02-03-19 UPDATE

This sweet little girl (called (Nimahin foster) is still hand shy, but will take treats. She so wants to be brave, but what ever way she has been treated before makes her wary.  She is doing well with her toilet training and her lead work is in progress. She will need to be groomed regularly her hair is a beautiful colour.  She gets on well with the other dogs, if you are looking to give a home and lots of T.L.C to a rescue dog.   Please have a look at this lovely girl, you wont be disappointed.

The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog. You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

In certain circumstances and in particular when it is one of our long term stayers or a dog who is difficult to home we may transport it down the M4 as far as Reading if the adopter is not able to travel for a valid reason. This will only happen on a Sunday and will be part of our Foster Run where we transport dogs to their foster homes. There will be and additional charge of £20 transport fee for this and the adopter must be able to travel to the allocated service station. Please think very carefully before asking for a dog to be transported as if you already have a dog there is no guarantee they will get along with the new dog or vice versa and you will need to be able to hold on to the dog until the following week and meet the van again if you wish to return the dog.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
